you’re right tho, this team is primed for a good run in the next 3-4 years at least so they might’ve told him to give them another year what with tillery for sure hitting FA in 2023, there might be a roster spot open on DL…

Or...if Tillery has a season ending injury he's (Graziano) is the next man up. I could actually see them cutting Tillery outright if he plays like crap during the the first 8 games of the season and no improvements pending.

Naw, Chargers love Jerry Tillery. Even if he plays poorly this season, they're gonna still extend him in the off season. They know his big breakout is on the horizon.
