I think we can all agree that if we can't win one with Herbert, we simply can't ever, and we should all just move on....
        G-Ro knows.

            Hoping to win the West.

Worst case scenario, HC isn't what we think he is, injury bug, poor special teams (again), finish 7-9; out of the playoffs.

I truly don't understand the pessimism on this board at times. We were 9-7 last year and you think we could actually lose 2 more games with the massive upgrades we made on D and at RG? Not to mention Staley having a year to learn from his mistakes and Herbert actually in the second year of an offense for the first time since high school. Yeah the division is tough, but geez - if we don't win at least 11 games, I'd be shocked (assuming Herbert plays).

Some real dumb losses last season, I think more than the lucky wins. The three games that aren't common to the rest of the AFCW (CLE, ATL,MIA) are easier, on-paper, for the Chargers, vs. those for the Chiefs and the Raiders. Anything can happen in the season, my guess better for the Chargers than the rest of the division. 12-5 is very realistic.

                  Two thumbs down for you!

I'm looking for 12 wins and the division championship. 12-5 takes it.

Now, it is a 17 games season.
                      You mean 8-9 or 7-10 ?

I agree, but to a point. I won't say never, but we'll probably be the NFL's version of the Cubs (before they won the Series in 2016). We're already over halfway there.

We're like the Eagles before they won it all in 2017.
