There's no possibility JC will return at a high level CB ?

That’s a tough injury to come back from. Not impossible, but very tough.

One thing the Rams have that the Chargers don't is a CB like Jalen Ramsey who could stay with Davante Adams. Adams had a respectable game, 3 catches for 71 yds, but he scored no TDs. JC Jackson was **supposed** to be that CB for the Chargers.

Why didn't he get more targets? How much of it was LVR not going to him enough, and how much was it that LAR was doing a good job defending him?

There are other good CBs besides Jalen Ramsey. It's harder to defend WRs now compared to previous eras. Even the best CBs will get beat from time to time. A very good CB in our division, the Broncos Patrick Surtain, even he gets beat.

I wanted to see JCJ do well. His injury was probably worse than he let on or admitted.

I think it's because Ramsey was able to cover Adams fairly effectively and that the Chargers were not able to do so.

Typically a two year recovery with diminished athleticism.

If I have the choice between going for it on 4th down at my 34 yard line at the end of a game
or giving the ball to the other team at their two, I take the punt any time
unless my defense is horrible or very tired
