    1. I asked my medical doctor friend, who is an orthopedic, and he mentioned that there is not much to do except rest and getting hit there will make the injury a lot worse!!

That's why I think we should rest him as long as it takes...

    2. Let's see our coaches' coaching abilities, what they can do without their franchise QB...

    Go Herbert!!!

    Go Bolts!!!

Herbert will play, padded. He’ll resemble the way Matt Stafford looks all the time…padded.

I say start the backups, if we are behind after the first half, re-assess and maybe bring in Herbert. its a long season too early to panic.

          And fire Staley.

I would say IF Herbert feels like he wants to start give him the first half, and if we could get up bench him in the 2nd half, or at any point if we could get to a 2 TD lead.

I think we can win this with our backup QB though IF our D plays tough. I wouldn't be shocked if Herbert plays the whole game.

I don’t think Herbert will play and I think Jacksonville wins this one going away, by double digits.

Can the backups beat the Jaguars and/or the Texans? Without Herb, JCJ, Linsley, Keenan, et. al.? You don't want to lose both of these games, they are both in-conference and will play a big role in determining final playoff spots. If they start Chase, I hope they have a plan to work in Stick for some special packages, especially inside the 10 yard line.

Not playing through a knee injury is slacking off? WTF?

At tail end of Zion Johnson HOFer article:

One of the biggest surprises of the season so far is the play of third-year linebacker Kenneth Murray Jr.

Murray has looked fast, physical and, most importantly, much more comfortable in the scheme and his assignments. He is playing the run really well, fitting into the right gaps, shedding blocks and making plays on the ball. And he has also flashed in coverage. One play against the
Raiders in Week 1, where Murray fought through a pick to cover running back Ameer Abdullah on a wheel route down the right sideline and force an incompletion, really stood out.

A few here have the knee jerk reaction of kicking something to the curb if there is a setback or it does not immediately pan out.

2 games in and we’ve got an injury report filled with key guys. The Jags have 1 guy on their list. 1

The Chargers are currently -3.5 at home against the Jags tomorrow. But they are -6.5 currently for next week's game in Houston.
