Eagles' time of possession is worst in the league. Just sayin'....
    Prediction:
    Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

TOP this season is misleading since we are inefficient in goal to go situations (like last night). we are just racking up yards (some games we fall behind early so fast, some games we just go up and down the field with either just a fg or no score) we aren't racking up points. what good is a 3-500 yrd passing offense if you can't run and only score 20 pts a game?

I think most people expected defense to be a weakness for the Chargers. They are not tough up front and they are undersized in back. We don't run the ball and we get run on. Last night the Bears backup backs had a 4 yard per carry average. To me I thought the Bears didn't run as much as they should have, it seemed that even when the Chargers stuffed the runs the Bears got 3 yards. The Chargers offense has only accounted for 203 points this year, just 22.5/game. While we get yards we don't get points and with a poor defense you are going to need to put points on the board. Overlooked, both by the coaches and the fans, is the total non-existence of special teams play. I wonder if they even practice it aside for FGs.

The Chargers are primed for a total rebuild. They are not on a SuperBowl winning track right now and won't be for years. This team just isn't very good and needs to do a better job in the draft to get good.

I have not seen it broken down anywhere by halves, but if the team regularly spends less time on the field than the other team they should not be worn out.

Only Te'o and Liuget were missing from the starting lineup today - and the Bears still rolled up and down the field.

Bears even spotted the Chargers 6 points on missed FGs, a bad throw on an INT, and fumble.
They also fumbled in FG range and had a couple of stupid penalties take them out of FG range. The quality of play by both teams looked more like preseason than regular season.

The whole second half is run like some two minute drill, even when we have a lead or are pretty close with lots of time remaining. Reich manages every game like he's running the K-Gun down 35 points.
Spot on. And they've actually been running the ball much better the past few games but he just won't stick with it.

It felt like the Bears rookie RB was tearing it up last night but the Chargers actually had a better rushing average but they ran the ball 10 less times than the Bears.

              Reich is a joke.

The stats are skewed because Cutler had 3 kneel downs at the end of the game for -2 yards that hurt their average. Our running attack sucked last night as it has all year long.

There are a lot of people that need to go, but Reich needs to be first. Heck, Indy changed OC's halfway through the year and they're a likely playoff team. But Deano doesn't 'believe' in that. BTW, I thought about this on the crapper this morning:

According to Reich, Gordon needs to learn to "dig deep."

I saw Gordon have some early success and then it was totally abandoned for Woodhead. Even Brown, a guy who won't be here next year, got his first carry of the year over Gordon. Two things strike me about the running attack: it's a Saltine cracker and there's no commitment to it. We're not winning anything this year. Why isn't this offense working very heavily on executing the running game in every practice and emphasizing it heavily in the games? We're going to lose anyway. Rivers'll get his anyway. Fuck, man. Work on getting better at something and protect Rivers' life. Those are the two things we need to do vs playing it out like we're going to the playoffs.

Sadly, this is looking more and more true by the week.

I kinda wish the Marriota rumors were true last year...at least we would have a young QB to build around. Rivers' career won't last another total rebuild.

Reich needs to try one other type of offensive formation and at least a second running play.
