The injury uncertainty is killing me. Will Herbert play? If he does, will he be effective? How about Allen and Parham? If not, how can anyone be comfortable trotting Daniel out there? In either case, if the running game stepped up that would really help but our line is beat up and IIRC they have been good against the run so far this year.

After watching the video of his last start - three years ago against the Raiders - I am not comfortable at all. I'd almost be more comfortable with Stick out there, if Herbert doesn't suit up.

All those preseason games the past couple years, also...Daniels didn't exactly light it up most of the time...

Too be honest, I think he should not play and let the injury heal. I wish we had a competent back up, like a Nick Foles. But I'd rather lose a few games - which will affect the team's ability to get the No. 1 seed or win the division - and have Herbert come back in a few weeks able to play at full strength. I'd rather have this than have Herbert struggle with it all season because he keeps playing while injured.
