Reportedly Herbert and Allen are pushing to play (as you would expect), but Parham was downgraded to "doubtful" yesterday. He won't be playing.

The guys who are gamers will push to play.

I think lost in all of the fretting over Herbert is how many QBs have played with this very same injury for weeks, got the shots, and just never said anything about nor did their teams. We know Rivers and Fouts did it. And I am sure many, many others have too. When Tyrod hurt his ribs in game one last season it wasn’t even a debate that he would get a shot and play the second game. It shows what a superstar Herbert is and the injury occurring in prime time adds to it, that everyone talks about this injury so much. I don’t know how to check it, but would in interesting to see how many QBs have missed starts due to rib injuries in the NFL.
