Is there something wrong with Ekeler? Why doesn’t he run the ball any more? I know they want to reduce his snaps this season but it feels like he’s hardly playing at all. Sony is getting all of the runs.

Too early to really make a call on Staley, but like I said at the beginning of this thread, you call tell a lot about the coaching of the team based on how they play in situations like this (injuries, undermanned, etc).

So far, we are failing that test.

Could we please get Williams, Carter and Guyton on the field in a 3 WR set?! Let them double cover Williams. Use speed across the field to create big plays. Use play action pass on first down to create longer vertical opportunities. Do not call a short pass (other than emergency dump off passes) for the entire third quarter or until such time as Jacksonville is not saturating the short passing area. Do not call a first down running play for the rest of the game and on either third and short or fourth and short. Do play action pass on both third and short and fourth and short. In short, stop Lombardiing altogether!!!

shout out to everybody who said the Jags beating the colts was nothing to take into consideration.

Everyone knew that Jacksonville was a little better than last year, but this is a team that WAS handled in WAS. We are better than WAS and by a good margin.

But Lombardi is just killing us. No team will flourish when 3 of 5 first half drives are sabotaged with terrible play calling and then wonder why the team is losing. Just zero vertical passing game today. All sucky short horse manure into the teeth of a defense that is just waiting for it just like KC was.

Worst waste of passing game talent I can remember seeing pretty much ever.

And what about Kelley? He had a better ypc average than Sony last game...hardly even seen Kelley...he and Guyton are the forgotten men...
