I started having my doubts about Staley last year with some of those bonehead game decisions...AND for joining Lombo in gameplanning and handcuffing Herbie from making more long and intermediate passes...this year, it's even worse and the un-dynamic duo of Staley and Lombo appear totally clueless...

Nothing will change until spanos spend the money necessary to bring winning culture in from top to bottom. They won't though

Last season the offense operated with the aggressiveness and urgency that comes with not being able to trust your defense. This season, it feels like the offense has so much faith in the defense that all urgency has been sapped from the offense. Reflected in the low depth of routes and bottom of the league conversions on first down. Vanilla offense that tries way too hard to get to third and short and ends up on third and long where any drop means the drive is over.

And then the defense gets gassed.
