    Spiller being replace by Sony

I just don't get why Telesco wasn't better prepared at Edge and OT depth!

Not gonna argue...but...the offense didn't give up 38 points today. Our "genius" defensive-minded HC got his ass handed to him today. We still lose that game, but 38 points, to ANY team, is embarrassing.

Said it a few days ago Pederson is proven and underrated and Staley is not.
If I'm Spanos I fire Staley, Lombardi, and Telesco tomorrow and give complete control to Peyton meaning he can pick his GM on the one condition he brings in Fangio.

Eagles are really fun to watch.

We're in for a long, shitty year. It's a really odd feeling to know your season is over in week 3. In some ways... liberating?

In an ideal world we would can Staley and TT at the end of the year, and give Sean Payton and a competent GM whatever they want to come here with a treasure drove of draft picks to work with.

This team just doesn't have it. Again.

              Pederson is playing chess.

Staley and Lombardi are playing checkers.

I've never seen one coach outcoach another coach by such a large margin

Seriously give the Jags a lot of credit. They are a good, young team that finally has stability at coaching. Their OL was blowing us up most of the game, I mean flat out just leaning on us. I don't remember Lawrence having such a cannon in college, but he has a lively arm and an instant release. Sky is the limit for that kid. Be nice to see them come out of nowhere and take that division.

The offense is one-dimensional. Everything is in the short zone near the line of scrimmage. Stupid, poorly timed, drive ruining running plays and lame short passes, especially to the sideline.

We will not throw the ball down the field unless we are far behind and trying to play catch up. Every opposing defense knows it, without exception. When you play on national television and throw all of two passes beyond 17 yards on 48 attempts, it is not too difficult to figure out.

The instant we threw deep, of course, it worked perfectly.

Unfortunately, with Guyton having sustained what appears to be a significant knee injury that may require him to miss games, and with the roster management "brilliance" of the team at the WR position of trying to have an abundance of slower WRs that have no moves, it appears that we may have absolutely zero deep speed at this point.

But hey, at least Lombardi can now use Guyton's injury as an excuse to continue to not throw the ball down the field while he continues to engage in the mind numbingly stupidest clusterfuck play calling in the entire league so that we continue lose games that we should easily win as we have now done twice this season.

Frustrating to say the least. Disappointing (again.) Why can't we do on offense what Pederson and his OC do? Short/fast plays instead of dropping back to wait for an open receiver with our injured OL the way it is? Ridiculously insane.
Yes, bring Sean Payton in, and he can bring in a Real DC (Dennis Allen's Saints are 1-2....a better DC than HC) Payton can hire a good OC. Maybe keep our Special Teams Coach. O yeah, replace TT with someone better/proven. (No Polian disciples PLEASE).

                      Staley can go cheerlead somewhere.

three things.... article uses the phrase "signed off on," which pretty much sums up Telesco's modus operandi.... how often has he been the driving force behind a decision ??

they talk about Stalesco, and suggest that they are "gamblers."

they also use Staley and Coryell in the same sentence, and comparably so....

                          Great idea.
but unfortunately will never happen with Spanos.
I hope they at least begin to "talk" with SP.
