WR Jalen Guyton: Where Does He Fit?

That's a good question and one I've been wondering about. He tore his ACL on Sept. 26; presumably he had surgery soon after. The Chargers didn't re-sign him right away after free agency opened, maybe waiting to see how his recovery is progressing. But they did finally re-sign him about a week before the draft, and maybe they took that step after being satisfied his recovery was coming along well.

Did we change OL coach from last year? I should know that but I don't.

2021 Frank Smith took a better position as Miami OC.
Former Saints OL coach Branden Nugent was a 2022 hire.

Listed as limited at OTAs. Don’t think he’s getting reps in the scrimmages they’re running. Hopefully he gets all healed up soon, competition is a good thing, even at WR6.

I'm guessing they held off on re-signing him until the medical team said he'll be good to go.
