Yes, disappointing in how close the game got in the second half, but I was thinking before the game that the three keys for the Chargers were (1) how Herbert looked, (2) how Salyer looked, and (3) Ekeler and Feiler getting back to form, and I think all three got positive answers.

Just what I'm thinking and still no Keenan Allen yet. Not giving up yet for the season.

          Get Keenan back.
Lombardi was the reason why the Texans had a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter.

That is the best thing about the win. Herbert is playing well with that injury, on that scramble he looked like he was unhurt. Justin maybe missing his #1, and checking down, will be helped when KA is back for sure.

Why no Kelley in the second half? I don't see any information that he was dinged up. Was the Chargers' plan to play Kelley in the first half and Michel in the second as the backup back?

Also looking around the league today...lots of close games as always and some unexpected results.

Don't get me wrong...Lombardo's playcalling is maddening...but also some credit to the Texans for clawing back into it.
The way I look at it is that if you have a bad team down 27-7 you have to step on their throats. Yes there are always close game in the nfl but it doesn’t have to be that way and wasn’t for us last week

This. I'll take the win, thank you. No team does it perfect. There are some things to work on, yes. But this team dominated early and did what was necessary to get the W. I'm happy.

It appears as if the coaching trusts Michele as a veteran with SB experience in close games. He had a few nice pass catches for first downs, but certainly has struggled running.

We're just not that type of team.
