Palmer has been a disappointment. I was really expecting him to step up with KA out. I don't know if he's having problems that are affecting his play, or if I overrated him and had expectations that he's not capable of fulfilling.

He gave Belichick something, making the coach who let him walk look like he's a genius.

We should do more ball on the ground drill. We can’t seem to get any of those fumbles. Great team win. I thought we were going to collapse after the Carter fumble.

Exactly. Belichick makes good players look like all pros.

To be fair, they basically did what we did last week. And still kept it close.

I am not sure if you noticed, but we were playing the worst team in the NFL today. That the Texans are horrible is why we could move the ball and score so easily. They could not stop anything and we had all of the momentum until Lombardi, in typical Lombardi fashion, went too conservative and allowed the Texans back in the game just as he did with the Raiders and the Chiefs.

We should have won today's game by 40 points and likely would have but for Lombardi's lame play calling in the second half. We had a chance to put the game completely out of reach in the third quarter, but Lombardi turtled.

We have lost and will continue to lose against teams better than the Texans if Lombardi continues to become too conservative in his play calling. Every game, the guy is absolutely killing us. It is so incredibly obvious at this point that we are really past talking about whether or not it is a major problem (Lombardi himself has admitted that it has been a problem in two of the first three games), but now the discussion is what we can do about it. If we are not going to fire him outright as I think we should do immediately, then I think we need to take away play calling duties from him.

This place is so funny - it’s been 4 games for a guy battling an injury that caused him to miss 2 games. Way, way, way too early to come to any conclusion about anything.

I think with Lombardi's second half play calling, it is likely that we would have lost to about 30 NFL teams today had we been playing them despite having some of the best talent in the NFL.

If you do not think that is a problem, you and I will have to agree to disagree.
