What is the talent on offense? Williams? A Career number 2 wr, he’s great when he has a number one to take away the double teams. Everett, he’s fine but not great, Palmer? Wait he’s injured, the rest of our preseason hero’s? This offense has been decimated, this offense needs Allen and probably a guyton style field stretcher.

The one thing I’m not seeing, Herbert elevating his Wrs, that is a great sign of the great ones. They make the cast offs and mediocre players around them look great, see Mahomes. I think Herbert has that sort of ability he just isn’t playing well.

Payton did not elevate Lombardi to OC. I wonder why? Chargers have had Bargain basement coaching staff for a decade. Proof is in the pudding my friend.

with the injuries we have we should put Spiller at RB, move Ekler to the slot where he can have a bigger impact...than just running screen plays.. and Spiller can handle the tough yards running up the middle and taking a beating.....while also being a screen threat.....
