Soon...hopefully this game, if the ribs are good, Herbert needs to start scrambling for yards...these dbacks and lbs in coverage never have to worry about him turning it upfield. That needs to change. Couple of big runs, and the opposing defense is gonna have to respect that possibility on pass plays...which puts pressure not only on the lbs and secondary, but also checks a blind pass rush...

We need to stop locking our QB in the pocket, and limiting him to checkdowns other teams are wanting him to make. Take the scrambling and off script plays out of Josh Allen and Mahomes' games, and they arent near the QBs....we need that same element in this offense, and Herbert has the ability.

If he only plays 4 games this season and we miss the playoffs I can see them outright cutting him after this season. We cannot continue paying for broken down players no matter how good they were three years ago.

not mad at KA, just incredibly frustrated with player management with him and in general.

I just posted about possibly sitting Herbert, now, I'm more in favor of that.
Chase can dink and dunk and risk injury all day.
We should be trying to establish the run game anyway.

I do not want to see Herbert out there without his top 2 WRs.

He's gone after this year if he continues to be injured and there is no restructure. Right now I don't even want to risk $10 mil on him at this point. I'd rather eat the $6 mil next year and save $15 mil for spending elsewhere.

Love Slayer, but the end is nigh....its the nature of the game....maybe he comes back this year, maybe even gives us a good outing next year....but if he doesnt, and isnt on the roster next season, I wont be shocked either....

This would be a smart plan actually
And like you posted in the other thread, the next two weeks with respect to the playoffs - are not as important as the last 5 of 6 weeks (AZ is in there)
This would be a good week to dink and dunk, run the ball, and hope to scratch a win out
