Maybe when you're trying to "set the tone" you don't have your first play be a 1 yard pass to Bandy. The only tone the Chargers offense ever sets is "we're playing to get to third down!"

If you play that way, you better be absolutely perfect on third down or you will have a jittery offense prone to stalling out. Hey wait...
