Especially early on. It got better as the game progressed, with several notable lapses.

After the 1st quarter it was one of our better games vs run. Atl is a major rushing offense. The fact that they didn't score every possession is testimony to Chargers improvement.

He at long last got to play. I was thinking he's finally OUT of the dog house.

He had 7 carries for 29 yards, a 4.1 yard average per carry.

Moreover, it seemed like he got something out of nothing most of the time.

For a team desperately in need of pass catching playmakers, it's mind blowing he isn't #2 on the depth chart. Something has to be up.

The West and the whole AFC. We be tied with Bills record wise but have the better conference record. So #1 in AFC if we don't throw that pick 6 vs KC and are 6-2. But they made that game killing mistake that day.

5-3 with a wounded squad. Not bad for the sophomore HC.

He should be 9-0 and figure out how to get the extra win somehow. Not a fan, 5-3 just means you have lost 3 times to many and haven’t won. Look at all the other peripheral stats that are used to allow teams to get into the playoffs. Clearly there is no way the chargers get selected with this coaching staff! Fire them all.

Spiller must really be in the doghouse

Spiller had a very good game today. He was the #2 back most of the day and gave Ek a nice rest. 7 carries for 30 yards is nice. I think we are going to see more of him

Kudos to the chargers for spreading the ball around today. Lots of guys got involved. Carter was money on third down. Everett runs hard after the catch. Palmer made some nice plays after the drop that caused an INT. Happy for those guys.

Don't even wait a single ineffective play call to fire them. If the play call and execution are not perfect then fire that coach on the spot. And promote the next guy. And if his first play call isn't a massive success, then fire him too. Just fire away until you find an HC who calls the perfectly executed game plan vs opponent. And make sure you somehow take away the paychecks of the opponents so they have nothing to play for.
Teach them all a lesson. Only then can the Chargering finally be vanquished.
