Chargers just need to carry on the amped up attitude they had against the Chiefs, from week to week, not just sometimes.

Might be surprising to some that past Super Bowl winning teams had less than stellar stats in one category or another.

Has a team ever won a Superbowl with our defensive ranking?

The 2011 Giants were ranked 25th in points allowed and 27th in yards during the regular season, but they shut out the Falcons in the Wild Card, and held the Packers, 49ers, and Patriots to 20 points and under the rest of the postseason.

Maybe we can hope for something like that if we get Bosa back. I'm not necessarily saying win a Super Bowl, although that would be amazing, but a deep playoff run.

well the D was still bad today, especially the run D. but have to tip my hat off to them for toughening up and forcing something like 3 straight 3 n outs. I thought the O was gonna shit the bed today but that last 2pt conversion was a beautifully-drawn play to scheme open GE.tip my hat to lombardi on that call.

See this is my whole point for continuing to say there is a sliver of hope for the Chargers. The Chargers aren't an elite team by any stretch right now. But if they can manage enough wins to squeak into the post-season, even as the bottom-feeder seed, they are going to get enough players back, including Slater in the post-season, that they can be that team that gets red hot in January and goes on a run.

This is what is important. With the game on the line, the D did what it had to, to give the O the opportunity to win. It's what teams with winning cultures do.
