And we had a game where the refs wiped out 2 INTs of our due to bad calls, right?

The one that was completely healthy for 15 weeks? Burrow = Teflon Joe. Might not be original, but it is damn sure accurate.

I wasn't pulling for the Chiefs, as much as I was pulling against Burrow and the Bungles. Eagles don't fear either team and I don't see them losing, either.

the chiefs sure are drafting much better than telescon the con artist. or is it coaching? anyways, the chiefs have a ton of draft picks coming this season so even if they pick 31 they can package picks to move up. I think the rams are the ones who will be hurting. time to own sofi spanus.

Oh and that Mahomes guy is pretty decent too.
The great thing about the NFL is that you can have a reversal of fortune faster than any other pro sports league.

5 of the last 7 Super Bowls have featured a team that didn't make the playoffs the year before.

And it would been 6 of 7, but Philly made the playoffs last year because they won a tiebreaker and added the #7 seed.

So things are never as bad or good as they seem in the NFL.

The Chiefs have an extra 4th round pick from the Hill trade and 3 7th round compensatory picks.

              Line of scrimmage.
Eagles and Chiefs defense are 1 and 2 in sacks.
And their Olines are ranked 1 and 3.
Chargers want to compete for SBs, they need to keep investing in line of scrimmage players.
Who has it better than us?

Along with overturning an interception that should have stood.

Torn UCL on throwing arm for Brock Purdy. 6 month recovery. Tough break for him.

Chiefs scored 23, Bengals scored 20 - let’s not carve new busts in the Offensive Production Hall of Fame already. Chargers would have beat either team with those scores

In fact, they typically end up on the losing end in match ups against good teams because a key play was not made:
score 23 points and the opposition scores 24.

A key scramble in the 4rth quarter seems to be desirable - no?

That is a learned skill; it doesn't come about because the coaching staff has been preaching about your health day 1
and that you stay in the pocket, be reluctant to take off and slide when a defender is within 10 yards.

Herbert has been taught to not take any chances in every aspect of his game.
Do you remember Herbert knocking out that Chief's linebacker on a scramble in his first game?

To be fair, both teams would have scored more facing the Chargers D!

To be fair. I don't think the Chargers could limit KC to 40 yards on the ground !
