PO chances. A win this week coupled with a Miami and NE loss would put us as the #6 seed. As it stands we win the tie breaker with the
Jets and Dolphins IF we win and Miami loses. A NE win would keep us behind them with the tie breaker going to to them. Unless we win the
next 3 games it could come down to the Broncos game.
The Patriots are toast. I think the Raiders will beat NE Sunday. Waller and Renfrow have started practicing for the Raiders and McDaniels will have that team prepared and motivated. Then the Patriots have vBengals, vDolphins @Bills. I would not be shocked if the Patriots lose their final four.

As for the Jets, vLions then vJags - two teams on the rise who suddenly have playoff ambitions then finish on the road against two winning teams fighting for the playoffs, @Seahawks @Dolphins. The Jets don't have stability at QB. I said a few weeks ago the Jets are going to fade, and they lost two straight. I'll be surprised if the Jets manage to win two of their final four. I predict they'll be no better than 1-3.

The 'Fins are going to lose in Buff - that is almost a lock. After that, I don't know. If Tua has been figured out, it could be tough for Miami the rest of the way.

If the Chargers just take care of business and win these next three games against inferior opponents, they could clinch a playoff spot before week 18 @Donks.

Forget 2 deep, we need 8 in the box this week

Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
      Let’s win one for Mack.

We went 1-3 to close last season. I don’t even bother predicting what other teams will do. If we finish 4-0 I have no doubt we’ll be in. 3-1, tight. Anything less forget it. Just go 4-0

You may be underestimating the Jets. Detroit has a damn good offense, but they are going against a very good defense. Jets should also take care of the Jags.Seahawks are on their way down and the Jets dominated the Dolphins in their first game (not sure Tua played though). A reasonable guess would be the Jets go 3-1 and if they do we'd have to go 3-1 or better to beat them out. If the Dolphins lose as predicted their PO hopes start to fade. Going 3-1 may do for us, but just to make sure I'd like to be 3-0 before entering the Broncos game. The wild card is NE, but with a difficult schedule and a defensive coordinator disguised as an offensive coordinator I give them less than a 50% chance.

I'm going to watch Lions at Jets in the early window. The Lions are fun to watch. They've won 5 of their last 6; their only L was a 3-pt loss to the Bills. I'm pulling for them to make a run and get into the playoffs, and beating the Jets would be a huge favor to the Chargers.

The Patriots at Raiders are playing in the late window, but they start 20 min earlier than the Bolts and I'll be tuned into that game until the Chargers-Titans start.

If the Bills beat the 'Fins Sat night (which IMO is a lock) and the Raiders beat the Patriots and the Chargers beat the Titans, the Bolts move into the #6 seed.

Is Austin Ekeler the best undrafted player in Chargers history aside from Antonio Gates?

Through 13 games, Ek already has 1,257 combined yards (634 rushing/623 receiving). His 13 total TDs leads the AFC and is one behind league leader Jamaal Williams. He leads the league in receptions by a RB with 93. Last season he had 1558 yds from scrimmage and scored 20 TDs, tied for league best with Jonathon Taylor. But Ek scored twice on 2 pt conversions, which made him the league's leading scorer. This season Ek is averaging 97 yds from scrimmage per game, on pace to gain 1,650 yds. Ek didn't score his first TD this season until week 4; but his 13 TDs in the last 10 games has him on pace to score 18 TDs. To put that in perspective, Deebo Samuel, who is considered one of the league's most dangerous weapons, last season gained 1,770 yds and scored 14 TDs.

The Chargers are the only team with six players to have at least 400 yds receiving:

                        Joshua Palmer 665
                        Mike Williams 626
                        Austin Ekeler 623
                        Gerald Everett 490
                        DeAndre Carter 466
                        Keenan Allen 400

Remember when I said before the season that the Chargers had the deepest WR corps in the league in terms of quality at each level of the depth chart? This is what I meant. And I was including Jaylon Guyton at the time. My point was that there were no scrubs on the WR depth chart, from KA to DC.

Palmer already has 92 catches. Palmer is averaging about 55 yds per game. He's had 3 100 yd games. He'll need to average 84 yds per over the final four games to reach 1,000 for the season.
