This week's game is gonna be really really difficult for us. Derwin is still out & I can't remember Vrabel ever losing 4 in a row.
Way too positive after a win; way too negative after a loss.

I don't think anyone thinks the Titans game is going to be easy. I sure don't. And it would be just like the Chargers to get everyone's hopes up, only to have them dashed - again - with another lackluster performance. This is a pivotal game, and the team/coaching staff had better have done their homework in preparation.

I would also like to see the Chargers EARN their way into the post-season, not back in because the teams ahead of them folded worse.

I agree, I’ve stayed away because of the ridiculous negativity…

but the team does seem to be turning a corner, just in the last month I’ve found myself saying, “this is the best game plan Staley has ever put together on his defense” I said in in the SF game, the Arizona game, and then again in the Miami game, so the kid is improving as a defensive coach I think he’s learning to use what he has instead of trying to force his system or whatever the fuck…

then you get some playmakers back on offense and it feels like the team has weathered a huge fucking storm, managed to stay afloat, and is ready to flourish…so yeah, there is good reason to be optimistic!

Qsmokey, Playoffs??? Didn't you say playoffs? Wow way to positive! Actually to your point about sucking us all in, I can't say I have not had that in the back of my mind this week. That said it's time to test if we are turning a corner on the culture change of this team and this is a good test, besides the real test is the Rams game that would be they toe stub that kills us and dashes all hopes...

Allen sucked when he came into the league. It was only when he learned to read defenses and improved accuracy that he excelled.

I rank arm strength/velocity way down the list but JMHO.

Again, and fir the last time, we were just judging arm strength, not overall QB greatness, at least that’s the way I understood the discussion, just arm strength, if you insist on arguing with yourself on something that wasn’t being discussed I’ll be happy to tap out…not interested…if I wanted to do that I would just go hang out with that guy that talks to himself over at the park down a few blocks from my house…

                KID? Lol!
That aside,I think D improvement has been evolutionary. The D isn't just a new coach/scheme, the players are getting used to each other also. The, coaches ,staff, players are growing together. Our team execution of press/man to zone coverage was awesome to watch.
Whittling down the package rotation (necessarily) provided continuity and the players played. I think we all learned something.

IF the Chargers are a playoff team they win this game. Period. They just came off one of their biggest win of the season and a playoff team would go into the next game with swagger and momentum. A non playoff team comes out and loses this game, and takes a step back, blah blah blah.

I will say this if we come out and lose this game, the Chargers with Brandon Staley and staff really take the fun out of these games and being a Chargers fan and make them as frustrating as it gets to follow, because if we lose you know it will be because of the same stupid reasons. Can't stop the run, fumble the ball when we are rolling, can't score points in the second half, Oline playing at the Junior College level and getting beat with big plays......

Win the damn game and let's roll!

Qsmoke called that not only are they making the playoffs, but they are storming in with bravado and confidence. I like the change in latitude, an invigorating uplift!

yeah brah!!! Lets all git on board the Charger Express!!!

I meant no disrespect but I say that when someone is young enough to be my kid, I should probably stop doing that, he’s a grown ass man with a family of his own…

The number one thing the Chargers have to do starting with this game is improve red zone efficiency. They were in the red zone six times against the 'Fins and only came away with two TDs - 33%. They need to improve that to 66%.
