Did Parham continue to play? Didn't notice him after his lone catch. Hope he didn't get injured again.

He had a huge catch down the middle that was called back on a hold on our first possession of the third quarter. Great play and that penalty was a killer.

Yeah, I don't think Slater would change much.

They'll have to win in the playoffs without the offense doing much.

Posters will soon run out of ammo,

And still, nobody gets Lombardi offense...nobody.
I want to get it. I really do. But about the time I think I get it, it like whoop, you missed it. Almost like the Norv offense.

Its just too far ahead of its time.

like a good Frank Zappa song.

This place is weird sometimes. Of course the O would be better if it had a top 5 LT playing, just like the D is better with James playing.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned here, but D James is in concussion protocol. Per ESPN.

I don’t know what that receiver did to him, but you can’t retaliate like that.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
              Let’s win one for Mack.

Props to Derwin regardless. That hit was technically legal (at least the first point of contact to the shoulder area), and it harkens back to the days of 70s-90s football. Derwin appeared to be more amped for this game than I can remember -- more than likely him seeing the physical and aggressive play of the defense without him rubbed off on him, and he came to lay the wood. Brief shots of him out there before the ejection, you can really see he wanted to put his hands on someone today.

Derwin took the brunt of the hit, because he went full force with his helmet aiming for the shoulder, but it came with so much force that his helmet ricocheted off the shoulder into the facemask of the receiver.

He should have had a Colts uniform on then. They are allowed to hit helmet to helmet and forget about being ejected, they don't even get a penalty for it.

Just to follow up on the importance of possibly getting Slater back for the playoffs, unofficially Salyer allowed six of the eight pressures allowed tonight:

NFL Research: With two rushing touchdowns scored Monday night, Austin Ekeler joined Pro Football Hall of Famer Marshall Faulk (2000-2001) as the only players in NFL history to have 10-plus rushing touchdowns and five-plus receiving touchdowns in consecutive seasons.

They'll get better marginally ..... which is the same as not much.

They had trouble moving the ball and scoring against a bad Colts defense with the benefit of 3 turnovers and great field position all game.
How much would Slater have changed tonight's performance? Kwitty Paye had a quiet game.

They couldn't do much against a decimated Titans D last week.

If your offense is not confusing anyone, bringing back Slater will not make much difference.

If the D lets Buffalo, Cincy or KC score more than 20 points, they'll lose in January.
