His snap count was somewhere in the vicinity of 30 - 40%.
They stunk whether or not he was on the field.
Their linebackers and safeties are playing faster now, they are getting multiple people quickly to the vicinity of the ball carrier.
Before, we were getting all over some cb (M. Davis / Assante Samuel) for not making diving solo tackles.
Everyone was complaining about missed tackles, because one particular player was the only one who could initially get near the ball carrier,
who had a lot of space to operate in.
Few football players could have consistently made those types of tackles: Derwin James being one of those type of players.
We thought he was the only one who could tackle on this team.
Fehoko has been a steadying influence in the interior;
Morgan Fox has stepped up, perhaps because he's seeing more minutes and is getting a better feel for the offense.
They've adjusted and simplified responsibilities, and they are allowing their back 7 to get their hands on receivers more often: no other explanation works for me.

I believe Telesco would've drafted Van Noy in the 2014 draft had he fallen to #50 in the 2nd round. I think Telesco had him targeted, but the Lions drafted him at #40. Telesco drafted Attaochu at #50. Van Noy might've been wasted with the Chargers at that time though. The Lions wasted his talent, trading him to the Patriots in the middle of the 2016 season for nothing (an exchange of late round picks). Van Noy flourished with the Patriots.
