Thanks man but it was just way more scary than it ended up being. I went right to a dark place because they dont use helmets in Rugby. And i could here his head hit the outside centers chest. A 250 pound stud and my boy of course tackled like a football player. Which does not work in rugby. I was thinking broken neck. Thank God i got to watch him walk off the field on TV. His coach on the phone with me and i could see him on the field using his phone. lol

This Damar thing is really serious. Just way more serious than my boys injury. Trying not to make this about me. Just as a parent i really feel for his.

I was living in Boston when Darryl Stingley was injured. I thought that was the worst thing I've ever seen in sports. This is so much worse. It's all I've been able to think about tonight.

Kudos to the medical staff, seemed like they got on it right away. Hoping for a positive outcome.

Between this and the Tua scene a couple months ago (also in Cincy, geez), some of the most gutwrenching things I've seen in football.

I am sure no update tonight makes people rightfully worried, but the best sign of hope is the ambulance waited for his family before going to the hospital. Cardiac contusions are very serious but this immediate on field care gives Damar Hamlin a great chance

I changed the title of this thread. I want us to rally up the mojo for this kid. Whatever it is you guys do...without making this a religion discussion etc. I will allow "Prayers" etc but lets not turn this into a spiritual debate etc. I am totally scarred by my own sons knockout during his final rugby game against Baylor a few years ago and this experience with Hamlin really sort of brought that back up for me. Just the helplessness as a parent. I had to see it happen on TV. And my son was just laying there unconscious. No CPR etc. But it ended his career. And he still has memory issues. Struggling to find work now. Concussions really took its toll on my boy....but im not sure what Hamlin is dealing with. But he is a kid and there are family and friends suffering for him right now. And i am constantly blown away at the power you men and women here at the Blues seem to wield through the unification of MOJO.

So lets rally for this kid. Prayers up.
