    Understandable, cmplxgal.
Try to separate the personal, emotional impact from the medical outlook, if you can.

    It looks encouraging.
    It seems to be stabilizing.

For all of us, our time here is precious.
We do not play modern football.

The way he stood up & then collapsed again was absolute nightmare stuff. Bone chilling in its calm & lack of drama.

I bet many dads with a boy in here saw their own son collapse in that moment.

Just a brutal situation, and every ounce of sympathy & will I have to spare is with Hamlin & his family tonight.

Just the helplessness as a parent. I had to see it happen on TV. And my son was just laying there unconscious. No CPR etc. But it ended his career. And he still has memory issues. Struggling to find work now. Concussions really took its toll on my boy....but im not sure what Hamlin is dealing with. But he is a kid and there are family and friends suffering for him right now. And i am constantly blown away at the power you men and women here at the Blues seem to wield through the unification of MOJO.

So lets rally for this kid. Prayers up.
I'm praying for your boy too.

Seems like a great kid who has been through it:

He's lost more friends than he can count. Life in McKees Rocks was not easy. Nor was a mystery injury at Pitt. But now? This rookie safety can help the Bills win for a long, long time.

Latest reports on WAPO have it at over $3.5 million.

I'm so proud of you guys for contributing. Not just here, but all over the NFL, you are really kicking ass IMHO.

                    Praying for his full recovery.

He was playing very well, especially considering his draft position. He's been quite a contributor -- I believe he's second on the team in tackles.

Hamlin has a go fund me account. A charity for kids.

Fans showed their support for the Buffalo Bills safety by pouring more than $4 million into a fundraiser he started for kids in his hometown.

Last night my daughter called me to ask "dad are you ok?"

I could not lie to her.

                          I wasn't ok.
