Have to admit Bosa lining up off sides has to go down in our history along with what the Safety did in the pats game! Bosa had a meltdown and had little impact on the game! Staley picking up his helmet twice and handing it to him was strange. The one thing about Staley is he sure knows how to take the fun out of football! He really is like Mike Mccoy on steroids, and he's like a used car salesman and I bet that's what got him hired when they interviewed him.

Everyone loved Marty, and he was a strong personality! Los Angeles would be a perfect city for him to be in and he would hire the GM, DC and OC that he would want to work with! After this game its time for the Chargers owners to turn to tried and proven great football mind people! It has to be either Harbaugh or Peyton! But I would go Harbaugh over Peyton because we don't need another short passing mind here! We need a Coach that will bring in a work horse RB and hire qualified assistants!
There probably won't be another offseason like this where a Harbaugh and Peyton is on the market. Next year once Staley pulls another Staley and is fired, knowing our past luck next season the market will probably be a bunch of OC and DC who are flavors of the month. TT has proven he doesn't know how to hire a HC so he needs to go. I just heard the game yesterday was the biggest comeback in NFL history! Can't continue with Staley based on this fact and so much more reasons.
Spanos, you want to be the Lakers of the NFL in LA? Then you absolutely need to hire the right football people.
next year we are stuck choosing between Frank Reich and Lovie Smith.

His decision to not take off his helmet on the sideline - like 10 feet away
Just do it on the sideline - knock over the bench, the water coolers, whatever - just not on the damn field
A pass rusher other than QB is the most important thing to have.

I’ve been watching Chargers since 2007, this is by far the most embarrassing game Ive ever seen from this Organization. I think we all know what needs to happen next but I have no hope for the front office. I just hope that this lost will make the organization better from this point on. I still have faith. ⚡️
Second, congrats for jumping on board after 2006. At least you didn’t have to experience that nightmare ending. It’s one that still haunts my dreams. And the last time I had faith — true faith — in a Chargers team.

I just think we didn't make enough winning plays in the second half where everyone is performing their assignments doing it with the right technique with the right type of energy
-Brandon Staley
Again this HC has never once said I needed to do better in my coaching or I needed to be better, when they lose he always throws the team under the bus. I'm on pins and needles waiting to hear the official announcement from the organization on what they are going to announce in regard to Staley! Is there any way they are going to say Staley will be back next year?

FWIW...This is going to sound weird but so be it. I kind of saw the final score except I saw 29-27, Jags in my mind a few hours before gametime. That happened a couple times after taking naps during the day. So I strongly suspected the Jags were going to come back from that 27-0 deficit. But I wasn't too upset about it - after they did - for some reason. hmm. I'm still not all that upset. It's a real blessing to be so non-reactive for me. There's more to life than a football game I suppose.

if we somehow got Harbaugh that would be franchise changing, but I have heard no rumors at all in the regard...so probably a pipe dream.

Or maybe that just falls back to our OL. No blocking. dunno
The Jags went to uptempo on offense, shorter passes - chargers missed a lot of tackles
on defense, they pressured more and Lombo and /or Staley didn't adjust pass protection
Staley is a defensive guru, supposedly, and he couldn't get one stop after the botched end around sweep. NOT ONE. Thats all they needed - maybe force a FG attempt

If the Spanos family wants a fanbase, they have to fire Staley and Lombardi. The only 2 coaches this team should be keeping are Ficken and Jay Rodgers.
If they can get Harbaugh, see if he can sway Fangio his way. A bit of a reunion some will say. If Fangio is a no go, I think you give Jay Rodgers a shot at DC. He knows the system and is a no nonsense type coach.
I think with some of these contracts you might look into making some trades. I think trying to trade Bosa is a great idea. An unpopular one some might say is Allen. I know he’s still playing really well, but that means you can probably get the most for him now after the finish to his season. For Bosa I’d be happy with an early 2nd and a 4th. Allen maybe shoot for a 2nd. But out of respect to Allen, I’d try to trade him to a contender, maybe SF or NYG.
Next moves would be to release players and restructure. I would release Feiler and restructure Linsley.
now resign players like Tranquill, Callahan, Fox, Pipkins and Herbert to long term deals.
All these moves that can be made, and Harbaugh would have money for free agency and more draft capital to build this team.
There is some talent and good depth available on the market and they need that at WR, Edge, LBer and Dline.
I don’t know, but does all this seem impossible to do or unrealistic?
And as far as all these balls being batted and bouncing off helmets. To me, that is straight up on coaching not getting after him about standing taller in the pocket and working on release point. So who does that land on, Shane Day and Lombardi.

Calling a play where Bandy does an end a round on a 3rd and short is grounds alone to fire the whole staff.
