Of course Wes Chandler gets love. I have Chandler about Miller and Tony Martin (who I think had one, maybe two good years). My point was for this season - I would take somebody who could do some of the downfield stuff Miller or Martin did.

The Chargers were never going to be busy this offseason - just didn't have the cap space

1) health - on offense and defense
2) new OC - how will the offense "evolve"
3) kendricks - can he be an upgrade at LB
4) the draft -can they add some playmakers

Damn this offseason is boring...and we're still a month out on the draft. Ho-hum...

something is off this offseason for me personally, I’m having a real hard time gettin excited for 2023…that usual anticipation is gone, I’m not even excited about the draft I think it’s a combination of the way we lost that playoff game, then almost all the same core group of people are going to run it back, then ekeler, then fucking tranquill signing with the fucking chiefs and then sending bullshit tweets…IDK, I’m happy about the direction our offensive line is going in and of course I love that we have such a stud at QB, but that’s about it…

all this shit hanging over this team including that bullshit with the spanos siblings, DAMN! I’m so sick and tired of these people being the owners or OUR chargers!

And yes, it’s been all upswing since week two 2020, but this offseason, probably because I’ve been around for so long, it just feels like I’ve seen all of this before and I’m having bad vibes of herbert being turned into rivers 2.0

another thing that really stings is the joey bosa thing, he was a personal favorite of mine, but after what happened in jax I’m not looking forward to seeing him in bolts anymore, I wanted him fucking gone this offseason!

I always am optimistic
want the team to do well

but the first two days of draft will tell me a lot where the team is headed

and it doesn't have to be trading back - though in the right circumstances, I am a proponent obviously

It more does Telesco see the issue with the team like a lot of people on this board and twitter - and thats spending high draft capital (thats rounds 1-3) on somebody that brings playmaking, skill, YAC, speed - whatever - to the offense

Joe Reed and KJ Hill in Rounds 5 and 7 aren't going to cut it

Don't care about losing Tranquill. Imo we got a better LB to replace him.
Ekeler will be here, not worried about that either.
And happy we got a better OC. Things can only be better with less injuries.
