3 RBs, no FB? I do like Horvath as a combo FB/RB/STer, but I suppose Horvath could be let go.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.
    The Wasted Decade is done.

Horvath won't crack spot #3 ahead of Spiller or Kelley imo. he only makes the 53 if the specifically designate a spot for him, e.g. FB. I doubt he showed enough FB last year, he'll have to turn some heads in camp.

I wish the best of luck/result to all of the young men striving to make the squad, Horvath included.

Interesting trivia answer for y’all - of the 2016 Top OL high school prospects, two of them are on the Chargers today. Foster was the overall top rated according to this, I look forward to seeing the post-2022 post-Duke Foster in 2 weeks.

Here's an article on perhaps why Sarrell flopped on the Farm:
he was rated as high as the #2 recruit out of high school.

Beachcomber liked him more than Walker Little for both's final season at Stanford.
I did not share that opinion.

I like him as a reserve. He had flashes last year, I’m sure Duke “fixed” him.

Reserves need to be prepared to start. Do you like him as a starter?

His pro day numbers are uninspiring, but some in the know say he has 'great feet'.

                Nikola Jokic has great feet: an athletic gift you can't measure;
it allows big players to redirect themselves, and OTs to cut off spin/inside moves & bull rushes.

Storm Norton is the poster child for bad feet. He plays like a giraffe.

Salyer is better than Norton already. Night and day.

That's well established. Sarell is more questionable but appears to have some upside. Good on him for going to Duke's OL Camp.

Haha, Leatherwood was drafted the highest, #17 overall, and is now backup OT for the Bears, who drafted Darnell Wright in the first round this year and is slated ahead of Leatherwood on their depth chart. Who knows if Leatherwood will even make the Bears' roster. Another sterling draft pick by the Raiders, in the same draft the Chargers got Rashawn Slater.

20 reps @ 225 - just prior to the draft as a junior? What was he doing for the previous 3 years at Stanford? Methinks work ethic is a component of his fall from grace . . . . . . . . . . .

                          I would NOT want to be the Dlineman in front of Salyer on power runs to the right . . . . . . . . . . . . .
