Sorry to say, I couldn't agree more. Definitely heading for another "Dark Ages", IMO. Could be 5+ years before this team sees .500 again.

I have to agree that's how it looks right now. BUT after the 2012 season where we went 7-9 I was thinking exactly what you just said here. Because after that season we had no line other than Hardwick coming back I believe. And there was a new HC and GM coming in. Had to be a time for rebuilding...right? No!!! We went 9-7 and made the playoffs the next season. Point is you never can tell. I think they need to do the whole o-line makeover thing again. Perhaps hiring Whis back will also get us back to the playoffs.

"Stability" is an absolute joke of a buzzword after what was the least stable season in the history of the franchise. Nothing says "stability" quite like packing the moving vans for Carson in the middle of the night while trying to hire a whole new cast of assistants for the lame-duck head coach you were too cheap to fire. Dean just doesn't get it and never will.
