Lots to love about Bowie but one thing that stands out is that he worked with some bad ass guitarists

      Mick Ronson...Stevie Ray .....Earl Slick.........Robert Fripp....Carlos Alomar

Frampton and current Cure guitarist Reeves Gabrels

And Ronson's solo on Moonage is one of my favorites.

Robert Fripps best solo was with Brian Eno. Babies on fire...

Eno and Bowie were great together as well.

I missed a shot to see him live at the Roxy when he did a pretour show for Tin Machine.

Lost a big part of my youth today. I still feel shaken. I couldn't listen to Lazerus not yet.

            RIP David.
Yep, I need to wait a little while to watch it too.

                  Maybe he's thinking of Labyrinth?

Yeah... it's always something when pop icons die so suddenly like that. RIP Duke.

David Bowie did a great job in The Hunger. Total underground following for that movie.

Very Sad Day. Loved Bowie! Dude kept reinventing himself time and again, he understood that everyday a new fan was waiting to be influenced by his sound.

Still really bummed about this. My 14 year old daughter has been impacted greatly. Shes so down over the last 2 days. Just quiet. Dosnt want to talk. Wont stop listening to his classics. We cried together tonight watching this video. He looks so happy. His hair reminds me of my brother who passed away. And he was such a huge fan. Just a really difficult death for me and my daughter. I havnt felt like this since Mercury's death.

I think for most of us Bowie transcended all of our different musical tastes while he played with them all. Other than country, he explored and often conquered new styles.

His last album is another venture into a musical style he hadn't conquered. But did.
