Still trying to figure out all the key coaches for the medical staff. Because I thought it was only Anthony Lomando, Jonathan Brooks, and Lucius Jordan.

It feels like we have one good lucky year injury wise, and then regress badly the years afterwards. No matter what we try to do.

2017 and 2021 were great years injury wise.

        Will changing trainers help us?

You guys think this is a good idea?

It won’t stop thinks like ligament tears during contact, broken bones, etc. But aren’t injuries like pulled hammies, quads, etc a possible sign of sub-optimal training? I remember Slayer hurt himself basically coming off the LOS untouched and was gone for half the year.

I don’t know this guy’s talent and delivered results from Adam, but apparently the staff does. I’d suspect they already have someone in mind.

Maybe. It is taking a shot at improvement. Only the results will tell.

I had some notes from when Staley was hired. Lomando- Sports performance. Brooks- Head Strength & Conditioning
              Jordan -Asst S&C
Maybe they are still there. I don't know where Mitchell fit in the program. His name isn't on the home page with the rest. Maybe re-hab.

If they can find someone that can reduce the injuries it might be the best upgrade they can make to the team this offseason.

I think Lomando is the little burly bearded guy who is always so fired up on the sidelines? And his job was supposed to be preventative I thought. Strength and conditioning, designing the right workouts, etc. I think Mitchell was the guy who treated players after they were injured. So not sure the right guy got let go. Unless the Chargers feel like the injuries were all flukes that could not be helped and the recovery was inefficient/ineffective?

Like, how am I a traitor? Your team are traitors.

Slayer was out a long time with a hammy. Bosa nearly all season with a groin injury.
Somebody may have thought that excessive.

All these staff changes have various factors involved.

It might be a more favorable candidate becomes available and says yes.

Also sometimes a refresh with a new face is a good thing.
                      Staley.
                      Genius.
