The family patriarch was a grade A asshole ... it rubbed off on his spawn.
If you look at the family treatment breakdown:

New England got a C- but does not offer daycare at the stadium on game day and do not offer a family room on game day.

Chargers got a D- even though they do offer daycare. No family room as well.

Grades are harder to compare because there seems to be little crossover with other teams.

Do facilities make a difference would be the premise ?

Chiefs are ranked 29th overall and we are ranked 30th. Sounds pretty ominous right for both teams ? The Chargers are getting leased training facilities are tied for last place on training facilities alone. The Chiefs are 24th.

      Weight room Chiefs are 22nd.

      Weight room Chargers are 27th

What makes sense to me if the Chiefs are 29th and we are 30th, what needs to be improved ?

      Look deep at the chart.

What jumps out to you in the charts ?

To me "Treatment of Families" and "Food service / nutrition" jump out at my ass. That is a HUGE disparity. The Chiefs are way better at those two categories by far. That speaks mega-volumes I suspect to the players. How do we get better should be the next step in those two areas IMHO.

Moral of the story with me: The Chargers are getting another gifted practice facility "again". They are leasing this new practice facility "again". This is no different than what was offered in San Diego so why should fans expect anything different ? I take these player surveys with a measured grain of salt however I do not dismiss them.
If you actually look at the two areas in the report breakdown, it doesn’t exactly make sense why the Chiefs are higher. For example, they provide family room on game day but no daycare. While the Chargers provide daycare but no family room. But the Chiefs have a much higher score in family treatment? So it’s harder to quantify and compare because it feels like certain players on certain teams prefer something over the other.

The basic technique seems to be finding a club on par with the Chargers in one category and saying "Take a look here! it ain't so bad."
Across the board, there are only a few teams worse.

Probably because at the end of the day, there’s really no correlation between the report and winning. Most important aspect of this report is just improving players working conditions.

Could be a direct correlation between the report and team health?

Maybe? They did fire the head trainer after this report.

It wouldn't surprise me one bit if the Spanos lease deal is a sweatheart deal, subsidized by the NFL,

People will continue to find fault with the organization. Criticize stuff because they aren't to their liking.

I hope the new trainer does help to get the team to improve at being healthy. How much will the new facility help with that?

Definitely. I can't imagine the low grades on training/conditioning/and other important elements that provide for a strong foundation lead to better health of the players.

                        Treatment of Families
Support of Players' Families: Ranked 29th - Grade D-
                        • They offer daycare on gameday
                        • They are one of 14 teams that do not offer a family room at the stadium
                        Post-Game Gathering Area: Ranked 28th

                        Food Service / Nutrition
Quality of food: Ranked 29th - Grade F
                        • All three meals provided
0% of players say there is enough room in the cafeteria.

                        Weight Room - Grade C-
It is a converted office building, and players do not feel like there is enough room to do what they need to do.
                        • 85% feel they have enough strength coaches (3rd lowest)

                        Strength Coaches - Grade A-
When asked about “Strength Coaches adding to their success” they ranked 17th in the NFL. 17th sounds average but that is because most teams rated their strength coaches positively. The Chargers players gave overall high marks to the strength staff which is why the overall grade is still high.
                        • 95% of players believe they receive an individual plan (Ranked 15th)

                        Training Room - Grade F-
                        Staffing
                        • 89% feel they have enough ATCs
                        • 57% feel they have enough PTs (3rd worst in the league)
                        Steam Room/Sauna
                        • One of 4 teams that does not provide a steam room
                        • One of 6 teams that does not provide a sauna
                        • One of 2 teams that does not offer either a sauna or steam room
                        Tubs
                        • 33% of players feel they have enough hot tub space (29th)
                        • 33% of players feel they have enough cold tub space (31st)
                        • The players feel like they are poorly maintained, “gross”
                        • Hot tub is often broken, and cold tub is often not cold

                        Training Staff - Grade C
One of the lowest ranked training staffs in the league. The Chargers have parted ways with their head trainer, after the completion of this survey.

                        Locker Room
67% of players feel like they have enough space (Ranked 28th) - Grade D-

                        Complaints:
                        • Lack of privacy
                        • Limited number of showers, which causes a very long wait

                        Team Travel - Grade B
                        • 100% of players feel like they have enough room to spread out
                        • No roommates
                        • Good amount of first-class seats
                        • The grades for this category were unusually low given the overall quality, but that is a result of one factor: logistics. Players report that they travel on the same plane as equipment and the players sometimes wait at least an hour for equipment to load before they can depart.

This is another piece of proof that shows what a horrible organization the Spanoses are..... the 49ers during their dynasty years were treated the best or close to the best all those years..... they were a class organiozation..... Spanoses are cheap, classless, slumlords....... that is why it costs more money to get good players to play for this crappy organization....

it’s funny that one of the criteria is if the team provides millionaire players free daycare during the game. I assume every one of you receives employee-paid free child care at your work.

oh yeah, you guys are all retired . Never mind.
