You can teach route running. Getting separation with moves and catching the football is a very different story.
There have been receivers who have overcome dropping passes. Jerry Rice wasn't that great with his hands initially.
Plus as I said before we are not using him correctly. Need to get him the football and let him make plays in the open field. That should help his confidence.
At any rate we are stuck with him as the Chargers are not giving up on him during his rookie contract.
In the mean time and in into next year we have a problem at WR. Allen is the only reliable option.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

Would not surprise me if TT tilted the final scale away from Zay. He fits TT's modus operandi since he got here. I still don't know what Staley's modus anything is, to be honest. He's a line of scrimmage team coach, but I havent seen that take effect on either side yet so ... ?“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”

The issue is injuries to MW and Palmer, necessitating accelerated deployment. We play modern Harball.

Whats puzzling is Palmer has made some nice catches, made the winning catch against The Raiders and it was a tough one and he gets hardly any credit here. The guy has been pretty good imo and still on the upswing.
