Love the pick, too early, probably but I see Ryan Ficken all over this pick and this is the only coach on Chargers I trust nowadays.

I like this! 6 K / P returns for TDs. That breaks some opponent hearts.

I think that is my main problem with the choice.
If he came from Northern Iowa A&M i'd be more positive.

I also noticed the guy has very little shiftiness, or elusiveness to his return game.
He basically outraces people to edges.

Checked his 3 cone time: he didn't run it.
Checked his 20 yard shuttle: pretty pedestrian.

He's short, has really short arms, a very poor vertical (30''), ran a limited route tree,

he's years away, if ever, from being a productive receiver .... and i'm not certain if his return game translates to the NFL.

The first few bobbles and he shoots down the depth chart.

              Yeah - I saw that. It's probably more about consistency . . . . . .

I noticed that in the highlights on QJ too, I wonder where the 'blocking' issue came up as a negative. WRs generally are so-so blockers in college, they have to be coached up, or have that potential in the pros, and still, some diva WRs won't block, lol.

He's a kick returner. He'll be No. 6 on the WR depth chart.

He's way too short for my liking at 5"7 and TT taking a ST guy in 4th round is little to early. Glad he has the speed though because a T.E would have been nice right around this selection.

And if he's a problem, Butker will just drill it out of the end zone.

I don't think he's going to impress as a punt returner.

Don't you hate that when one of our players outruns everyone on the field?

I read that QJ was a good & willing blocker at TCU.
