I'm for any FA that improves the team. I will verbaly and in print villianize any GM who misses on a FA that has a great year that he did not try to sign.

Could have also been his skills simply don't match those required to run Rex Ryan's kind of defense too.

That's why I'd sign him for the minimum, and see what he can still do.

BS on ST, even giving away all that field position our D still kept us in a lot of those games. 20 points or less, that's the thing to focus on (and sure, fix whatever else but jeebus, 20 frickin' points).

It's not BS, when you're winning and losing by a few points, then every yard counts. The league is hyper competitive, you can't concede anything. The Chargers special teams conceded about 10 yards for every volley.

Well you're putting words in my mouth, I never said winning season, I said win more games. Due to parody, the margins in the NFL are super thin. You can't concede field position like that and expect to win a lot of games.
