I actually heard analysts on ESPN talking about how this move might turn Sanchez's career around. When will they learn? He has failed in two separate systems now. Why would he suddenly be successful in a third one? What is it with this guy that keeps enamoring people who should know better?

The best the Broncos can hope for is a Trent Dilfer type performance (which is about what Manning-Osweiller delivered) and a great defense again. The problem with that hope is:

- Broncos suffered some major losses in free agency on defense
- Wade Philips has a history of lighting the world on fire in year one as the DC. Years two and beyond...still good but not so much.
- Sanchez is a turn over machine.
- Broncos got a lot of bounces their way last year on defense. Lot of tds scored as a result. Hard to replicate that
- Ware is another year older and Ray has off the field issues (so does Von Miller)
