I can't find any info. How many pro bowls did Jammer make?

I thought he was very consistent in coverage. And like a former posted said, the best tackler of any CB we've had.

He was fine so long as he kept everything in front of him. Also a great tackler. But would get beat on over the top throws. Never learned to turn his head to track the ball.
That's why he wasn't great at interceptions. Not the greatest of hands either. Good player but not HOF type.

          zero.

He was 2nd or 3rd alternate a few times (never made it to Honolulu).

Like someone earlier said: he didn't get pics, so he was downgraded for it.

He shut down Randy Moss in the 2007 AFC championship.

Cromartie got all those interceptions that year because teams weren't throwing at Jammer.

He was better than decent/solid. People here look for faults and forget all the good.

Yeah that wasn't sarcasm . I thought he got to 1 at least. Hmmm

                Quentin Jammer was:
He was drafted as a man to man press CB..... which he was great at..... and marty told us during pre season that we would have an aggressive man-press aggressive defense and in pre season we gave up almost no points from our starters..... fans were excoited...

....then .....the real season came, and games counted, so mr conservative switched defense to super conservative super soft zone, which gave up as many 5 yard completions the other team was willing to take,,,. Marty stupidly thought if you forced teams to make 14 play drives to endzone, that teams would eventually make a mistake or turn ball over..... he was partly right..... BAD teams would eventually turn ball over but good to great teams would use up huge chunks of clock and score TD's.....and beat us .....
Marty got even more conservative in playoffs which is why his playoff record was so pathetic..... Marty would mnot allow his QB's to throw past the first down marker unless he was behind by 2-3 scores.....

Jammer's talent was wasted on a poorly coached chargers team......marty was a good coach for a super bad team, but once a team had a real QB, and more talent, he sucked because he had no clue how to use good talent.....marty lived in past when defenses won football games....

Today, the 2 best defenses in NFL were destroyed by Mahomes and KC, who can score as many points as necessary..... any time they want....

K.C was hardly scoring at will in the playoffs. Low to middle 20s in the first two games. They had one half where the defense got destroyed: the last half of the Super Bowl. K.C.'s defense doesn't get nearly enough credit, along with their defensive coordinator.

And besides, we are talking about two different eras ..... you could breathe on qbs back then.

This is nonsense. We had one of the most aggressive defenses in the NFL during Marty's time. The conservative part of Marty was on offense not defense. Marty went 14-2 with a great team. Meaning hardly anybody beat us, just the opposite of what you wrote. We lost in the PO for lots of reasons including going for it early in the game on 4th and long, the opposite of Martyball. We also lost because of poor kicking and bad player decisions. Nothing to do with soft defenses. The critical play that beat us against NE was a long pass that Jammer was beat on by a pedestrian WR on a go route. That was man coverage. And by the way we intercepted Brady 3 times should have been 4. So much for soft defenses.

And people were complaining that we got away from running the football in that game, again the opposite of Martyball. Rivers was chucking the ball downfield and just missed a TD when Jackson couldn't bring down two feet in the end zone. Revisionist history you wrote.

he had stone hands. Great cover, bad catcher.

                        23 INTs in 12 years ! 4 seasons of 3 or 4 INTs.
                        Stone hands, bad catcher ?
He must have had some qualities ...

Would have had many more if he had better hands. Good man to man cover CB, unless you got behind him, then he was toast. Also best tackler on the team
at the time. Those were his good and bad qualities.

At one time either 2005 or 2006 (can't remember) Jammer and Flo were the two most targeted CBs in the NFL. At the time we had the best bar none front seven
in the NFL. But the secondary was quite a different story. Jammer was the lone bright spot until Cro-man showed up.in 2007. But as mentioned he was far
                          from perfect.
