I had always batted right-handed until I hurt my shoulder in a college intermural game. I shifted to batting lefty, and it only took a month before it felt natural. I actually hit for better average l\eft handed, but more power right-handed. Once my shoulder healed, I was a switch hitter.

I formed my opinions about Taco Bell a long time ago-- I haven't eaten there since the 70's-- and acknowledge I don't know anything about their current menu.

Since going plant-based I've had to resort to Taco Hell once or twice. I have vegan friends who eat there frequently. It's cheap and if you know how to order a lot of their menu can be veganized.

For the past few years their menu seemed like if a cheez whiz truck crashed into corn chip stand and walla ... junk mexican food with really good sugary drinks!

Do tell? How many pizzas did you eat, what part of Italy, what kind of pie did you order? maybe you picked a horrible spot by random bad luck?

I once had a pizza at this little place on the beach in Biarritz, France, which is in Basque Country near the border of Spain. It was alright. I remember they had a couple odd choices on the menu though. Italy is still on the bucket list, never been there.

That sounds like the Taco Bell I knew 50 years ago!

There are very few people in this world that are ingenious enough to use a tortilla as a frisbee. 95% of them are Gauchos.
                      It was a lucky guess.

Man, I've had pizza in Venice, Rome, Florence... nice restaurants, too. Every time it was very different than the typical "American" pizza. The sauce is more of a thin (semi-watery) tomato puree. Hardly any mozzarella cheese. Often goat cheese instead. I don't remember pepperoni being a topping choice.

I even tried a pizza in Pisa once... fricking Pisa!

If you go... get the pasta. Rome and Venice are a must! St. Peters is an architect's wet dream.

Basque Country... also on the list.

Right handed. Three dogs, all rescues. One cat, rescued from living at a Quik Trip (the South's 7-11) trash dumpster. Rescues are the only way to be a pet owner.

Oh and my brother retired to Italy. He loves it, went for an extended visit and never wants to leave. Never discussed pizza though.
