The food is awesome! Have you ever had a Hodad's burger...?
It's probably the tailgating. There is very limited parking @Snapdragon.
Most of the property is future science labs, dorm rooms, retail space, or river park space.
yep - the gating. they were grumbling how the parking and gating situation was far more restrictive than the old wide-open ever-expansive mostly empty Q parking lot they had luxuriated in the last several decades.

Looks like it is a fairly small amount of tailgating space.
Yes, Pink. $260 may be for a single game. It's $1000 for the season

Obviously, you're talking about Aztecs' games and not Chargers' game at the Murph.
With the food options you have @Snapdragon... seems kind of silly to drag the grill (and everything else) down there.
I jump on the Trolley @70th Street and I'm there in 10 minutes.

Grab a burger @Hodad's... line up a Sculpin... forget they have a parking lot at all.

Yikes! Even near the end, the Murph was only $20. The whole lot was open to tailgating.

Yep. $750 for the season for a no tailgating lot

We were there as well. The food was awful, the worst of any stadium that we went to last year (and we went to every Chargers game except @ Vegas)
At Levi I waited 30 minutes for a mealy hotdog on a damp bun and was so hungry I ate it like a pelican.

These stories make me sad. So glad I had season tickets during the seventies and early eighties. Tailgating was a blast with all the bar b queuing and music and throwing the ball. Even petting the cops horses.

It was fun walking through the lot at the Murph with all the different tailgaters

I hear that. Sad that it's lost that quality. The food doesn't sound to encouraging either.
