I just don't see Latham being a top 2 ranked prospect.

I'm 99.99% sure MHJ-WR is one of the two.

I'm not that confident about the other guy, but my bet has always been Alt-OT because you want to protect Herbert and having a guy you know can also be a franchise left tackle when your current left tackle is going into last year of deal seem like not only a BPA move but a insurance and back up move, especially for a GM who I believe means what he says when he says you never 1 player away. You don't pass up on good player to fill need. Premium pick. Get a premium position.

That makes more sense at 5 if they are stuck. Or Odunze. Money Smith keeps saying Odunze.

Those players are blue chip, immediate impact starters day 1 at 5.

I see Latham but I see that after all these guy are all gone and the Chargers are picking 11. Then this Latham stuff makes sense.

We can still trade for 11 and 23 . Trade up to 9 for Bowers, trade down from 23 to get more picks.

So much build up today lol. It's probably not going to be as wild as they make it.....as usual.

I just don't think Bowers is #2 on Joes list.
I think he is outside his top 5. And more inclined to think he is outside top 10 as well. I do think he is the #1 TE on his board.
And I think Joe takes him if he is BPA.

Bears have the draft capital and spot at #9 to do something similar to what Texans did and get their QB and their BPA after that.

Bears could trade to NE the #9 #75 and 2025 1st and 3rd to jump ahead of ARZ and get MHJ-WR. They have Moore and Keenan to play slot. They could really make things easy for Williams by adding MHJ. Patriots move down 6 spots but still top 10 and because as many as 4 QBs could be gone by pick 9, they still get a top 5 player and the extra picks.

Draft starts at #3. It could get wild.

If the above happens, then ARZ pivots and trades out or out of frustration takes the next best WR on their board, or Bowers. LOL. And then LAC on the clock.

Im just saying that all this Latham talk at 5 seems out of place. I see that later in the 1st if they found themselves in that situation. Not at 5 though. You are passing on just waaay too much blue chip, gold star, all world, immediate difference maker, impact players.

I have to believe he takes them both.
Good problem to have if you want to give Herbert protection and a run game.
