He could develop while Pipkins contract gets towards its end.

We can still trade for 11 and 23 . Trade up to 9 for Bowers, trade down from 23 to get more picks.

So be it.... if the talent is that big between the options when picking, pick the talent

I am not against Latham at 5 if he were Joe Thomas or Jonathan Ogden. I think at 5 that is a reach - but thats just me. Hortiz and Harbaugh know whats going on and trust them

Mims is third and Suamataia from BYU 4th.
None of these guys say 5th pick.

Mims is a guy you draft and then expect to develop because you have a really good staff. He could play G and be the new RT by Thanksgiving. He’s a globe with arms and legs.

agree.... no one takes RT's at 5..... top 5 is meant for QB's, great LT's..... great CB's.....great pass rushers..... or great cant miss skill players that score TD's.....

Thoroughly enjoyable read about Brock Bowers. Like Herbert, he didn't go to high school at a regional football powerhouse such as LaSalle, he went to his local hometown high school. Like Antonio Gates, he was a prodigious rebounder in basketball. I don't doubt he will rise to the top ranks of NFL tight ends as a rookie.
