I am still a strong possibility, I will find out from a friend asap if he can make it. If he can't, is anyone going solo? I may have to do that my wife is not in on this trip.

I am gonna fly out to KC with my 21 year old nephew on the 9th, and then see few sights including Arrowhead, and then the Royals on the 12th before I put him on a plane to back to NAU on the 13th.
Then I am taking the rental car to Morrison Colorado to see Lucero and Jason Isbell at Red Rocks on the 14th, and Tab Benoit in Boulder on the 15th.
From there it's only dependent on my next work day.
Been taking 3 and 4 days a week on several different gigs so I can do stuff like this.
My kids are grown and out, and I don't see the point of working 60-75 hours a week like I did for 30 years.

9 months is a nice gig.

It is, and would have been working with some great friends.
The drive to FOX is a nightmare though. Was not looking forward to bookending 10 hour days with another 5 hours behind the wheel.
I like partial weeks on different jobs just fine now.

My wife and her X bought and restored that house, it was always going to be hers, this house will be ours! Well mostly hers, but I have two basements one finished and one not to create my man caves!

Also the garage has a grease pit!

My home had a concrete pool behind the Garage that I converted to a grease pit by knocking out opposing walls and laying out iron girders supported by iron posts across the deep end. Restored a 57 chevy stepside with it. Have fun!

Reflecting on the comment from the showing last month that the guy sensed a spirit in the house and a report that Barb and I heard on radio about a couple who was sueing the owner of a house they bought for not telling them the house was haunted, I want to make sure the buyers are informed of several things.

We were told by a person who looked at the house before the Bayners purchased it that the owner showed them an old family Bible that had a statement written in it that a small girl had died in the house and was buried in the basement. He said the owner showed him a place in the old coal bin that he thought was the grave. He was reluctant to show me the spot but finally conceded. We turned on the light and as we started to go into the coal bin the light went out. He said it was a sign and went back up stairs. I tried the light switch again but to no avail. Later that evening I took a new light bulb down and discovered the light was on. There is a spot where some of the concrete is broken and you cas see a defined shape of a vault of some sort.

Karen Ferrell, while working upstairs had experiences on two different occasions.The first time she heard someone talking downstairs and on the second she heard classical music being played downstairs. Both times it stopped as she went down the stairs and there wasn't anyone else in the house.

Barb and I had an experience while staying there. There were a number of old books in the closet at the top of the stairs that come up from the kitchen. Barb was looking at them and stacked them on the floor in three stacks. That night we heard a noise and got up to check it out. The middle stack was scattered all over the landing and around the other two stacks which were still standing.

So please inform the buyer in case they would have any concerns.

I forgot that is your Red Rocks trip as well! Damn awesome weekend you are going to have! Hopefully we will be able to meet up along the way, have a beer and talk some music!

Hey Stinky, I think you will have to count me out on this one as I just can't commit yet and I don't want to hold you all up any longer. Bummer for sure. If anything changes I will let you know and maybe I can land tickets somewhere nearby. But as for now, I am out.
