I want to win every game. I can't hope my team loses just to get a new head coach or GM. If we truly suck, it will show and they will go. But I would prefer the playoffs instead.

Yep. Will always root for my team to win, not to lose so I can just root for the next coach to fail.

Wow!..... this could be really good or really bad for us....... that rookie was very impressive in pre season games.....

Chargers have a history of giving rookie players their first and sometimes ONLY great first game......

Grapolo is a known entity.... a solid game manager like Alex Smith was..... and overall a winner, because he does not give games away....

Same with other backup.....

No knowing what to expect from the talented rookie with a live arm and the balls to throw downfield against worst defense in NFL....

I still expect them to run alot..... Raider have great receivers and backs..... and home field advantage..... and they also dont fear Chargers anymore....those days are over until the Chargers actually build a team that can BLOCK abd TACKLE,,,,

This game will be close like it usually is and likely high scoring because neither defense is good...

This game will be decided by coaching..... and will likely come down to one or 2 stupid mistakes.... penalties, turnovers, bad angles, etc....due to poor coaching...

That all said, GO CHARGERS!!!!

Probably the right move by the Raiders to start the rookie. He was hitting wide open receivers in those preseason games, and the Chargers D will probably be just as open. It will be interesting to see if the Chargers did their homework on O'Connell, I'd just wish that there was some other team to get his first start against. Other than the Peterman game, Chargers just don't play well against debut QBs... but this time its against a divisional rival.
