Rex is a beaten down coach who knows he is on his way out. The biggest stress factor in his life right now was the QB competition. Maybe he was trying to get Sanchez hurt so he wouldn't have to deal with it anymore and can just go on losing without the media hounding him as much?

No way....if anything, he was showcasing Sanchez in order to get the contract traded off to another team.

Rex was overrated from the day he opened his big mouth as HC of the Jets.

He has not been able to develop really any players (Revis was drafted before he got there...and was already a good player).

That team stinks.
