Jamaree Salyer on this play took out both DBs who were potentially in position to catch Ekeler before he reached the end zone. Salyer pancaked #29 into the path of #37, who tried to leap over his teammate but ended up on the turf as well.

Our offense controlled the ball to open the 3rd quarter on a long drive that ended in a FG.
Way better than 3 & out, punt. That's not bad, just not perfect.
We closed out with D and a significant lead.

They are 23rd when looking at ypa. They are 31st when looking a yards given up per game. Teams can't throw on them so
they run.

It’s all in the way it’s interrupted. The NFL site takes in more stats in determining overall rushing defensive ranking (rushing TD’s allowed, etc.)

I agree McKitty sucks. Why is he still on the team when his only job is to block? and he cant do that either! it'd be better just to have an extra linemen in there to block.

I do t know about him but Ekeler was not a bottom 5 off player for us on Monday.

If they decide that Guyton needs to be on the 53, someone has to be cut. My hope is that they don't cut Fehoko, at least not right away, to hide him on the PS. Herbert isn't yet high-pointing down field, you know those throws that MW gets. The drop was frustrating, but that was also a litttle inaccuracy by JH too. I'd like to see more of him, since we don't have MW, and if Guyton is brought back, there will be at least a few games of de-rusting. I just don't know what the deal is with Fehoko, as he has the speed... maybe his ball skills aren't good enough.

McKitty is the obvious choice for cut. No one will sign him, you can put him on the practice squad. He's a waste of roster space, in my opinion.
