THey are running the ball with scheme, wide zone stuff, which yes can be adjusted to. MCCaffery is always injury prone. Im talking about building a power running team. Everyone is building defenses that can cover and due to concussions, nobody practices tackling anymore. I actually thought Bellichek might do this when Brady left.

There are no power running teams and for good reason. For starters almost nobody uses FBs anymore. A majority of games come down to one possession.
The team with the offense on the field at the end of the game has a chance to win the game. You can't run the ball with 2 minutes left in the game and limited
time outs. Therefore the passing game is king and will stay that way.

We could use a power running game, but we along with about 28 other teams are not built that way. We can also use some outside zone blocking to open up running
      lanes for our scat RB.

Why do we keep running him into the teeth of the D line and against some of the best front sevens in the NFL?

Good question...if we're running the rock inside, maybe use Kelley a bit more...he had that big TD run vs. the Chefs, then the Bolts barely used him vs. the Cubs...go figure...
