Can't believe it's almost done. Really heard no pub for boxing. I remember when boxing was a dominant Olympic sport.

Yeah, missed seeing true prospects coming out of the Olympic amateur program. Scoring now makes the sport difficult for American styles, but there is also an MMA effect of reducing the number of boxing prospects. Hey, USA used to be dominant in other sports as well, like synchronized swimming... but the USA didn't qualify a team at all.

The middle distance track results were outstanding, comparatively to other Olympics. So awesome to see someone actually winning the 1500m, and medalling in the Steeplechase and 5K.

It's already happening in the pro ranks, but I can't see it being an Olympic sport if they are as bloody as Diaz-McGregor.

A medal in the men's marathon by Galen Rupp, but Meb appeared to be sick, stopping 7 times, then slipped at the finish line and did pushups. He didn't drop out, though, finishing 33rd because he was representing the country ... that's what its all about.
