Usually the host nation gets a boost on the number of medals, but it doesn't look like that will happen this year. Marta is the equivalent of Leo Messi ... can't win the really big ones, at least internationally. Brazil does have the favored teams in volleyball, but I can see Kerry Walsh-Jennings/ April Ross spiting the Brazilians on their home court in the final... USA men gave their #1 team a run for it in the quarters.

I only have NBC for these games but I know in the past the USA channel and I think WTBS had some coverage. Among others.

If I can't find it on my streamsmart box, I use the nbcolympics.com website for their streams. I also use the rio2016.com site to find out what events are actually in play. The main channel for most of the events is on NBC Sports Network during the morning.

I've already mentioned some things they (IOC) are guilty of in this thread and after watching this show a second time I can't see myself watching any more Olympics - as much as I love following the events.

This is probably the story of the olympics, outside the actual winners and losers. Abbey D'Agostino fell with another runner in her 5K heat, and helped her up and checked on her after finishing the race. Today, we find out that Abbey tore up her knee, ACL, MCL, Meniscus, but still managed to run 2k... and still qualified for the final.
