Maybe that is what got Herbert angry yesterday.

Lots of talk about Staley losing the locker room - we might have already seen it in Green Bay.

Staley is not the type players will play hard for if they suspect his decision making acumen.

This could get ugly if they do not rebound against one of the leagues best teams.

great coaches cause players to play together and exceed expectations....

Reid dominated AFC west as soon as he went to KC, even with a game manger at QB....
Bellycheck may have had brady but the rest of his teassm was filled with average players who played together snd with discipline and and the total of the TEAM exceeded the individuals......

Coaching isby far the most important aspect of football because it is ultimate team game.... 11 guys need to work together for same goal......

Reid dominates the AFC West because the division has been weak for most of the time he has been in it. And no, it wasn't until after Peyton Manning retired that he's done it.

Aside from 2021, BB hasn't been good without Brady. No coach can do it without the talent to surround them with.

As Florio notes, the AFC is kind of wide open right now, with Burrow down for the season, the Bills not playing well, the Chiefs not dominating, the Dolphins struggling to compete with above .500 teams, the Ravens surrendering leads late (and the loss of Mark Andrews), the Browns having to rely on a 5th round rookie QB. No team in the AFC is dominating. But the Chargers with Justin Herbert and a highly salaried defense can do no better than 4-6. Wasting away Herbert's career.

This is what concerns me if they fire him and promote Moore and then we somehow squeak into the playoffs. They then sign him to 3 years and it's just more of the same thus now wasting 7 years of Herbert's career. I don't know who the answer is, but I do know that Staley isn't it. You are what your record says you are.

the shocking thing about yesterday was that our blue chip guys on offense failed. Kennan with 2 critical drops. Ekeler a critical fumble and slipping g all over. ASJ. I mean it just goes on.

Simms said it, unlike Rapoport, the defense sucks. And when you add in the dropped passes and fumble, it almost gave the defense a pass. Well it shouldn't - they suck

One thing about it - in Baltimore, that defense would smack you in the mouth and were physicial and tough. Telesco just hasn't been able to identify those types of players
