I doubt this is the contract. If it was, the Spanos and the organization would look so bad, lol. It's not even funny. SD had state that they have pulled their best offer (85%) and will begin to lower the contract accordance to the time that Bosa would miss, since it lower his contribution for the season. You don't swallow your words for a rookie. And Bosa side's initial stand is not even 100%, it was 94.6% (something like that) and they lower it by a whopping 0.3% after the team offered them 85%.

My wild guess: Both side compromise a bit, but Bosa's side is probably the one who caves. They're the one who loss the PR battle and Bosa image and reputation was hurt. There are also a lot of theories out there about the drug test, his history of drug tests in college.
